Our key Objectives are:

Provide support and guidance to disadvantaged individuals by improving their skills, knowledge and coping strategies.
Ensure disadvantaged and vulnerable people have information and access to welfare benefits, primary healthcare, housing, education and employment.
Improve the employability of young people and men and women of all ages, by helping them acquire the necessary skills and qualifications to move into employment.
Work towards reducing antisocial behaviour by working with young people, who are especially vulnerable to disengagement, and providing alternatives.
Organise activities and events to preserve and enrich cultural heritage, traditions and art, and promote a sense of identity and pride in people’s own ethnic culture.
Improve community participation and reduce social isolation experienced by vulnerable members of the community, including older people, by providing opportunities for social interaction and engagement in meaningful activities.
Steps needed to Achieve above objectives

We will achieve our objectives by:

1-Working with disadvantaged young people and guiding them towards youth activities, training, formal education, employment support and community participation.
2-Providing a range of leisure and recreational activities and events for young people, including sport and outdoor activities, and opportunities for engagement in cultural activities.
3-Providing language support, interpretation and translation services, a programme of educational and vocational training courses, and supporting people into sustainable employment.
4-Providing a programme of activities for older members of the community including social activities and lunch clubs to encourage social interaction and participation.
5-Providing support, mentoring and counselling to the most vulnerable groups, with a focus on newly arrived migrants, women and young people.
6-Providing advice on housing, benefits and healthcare, and signposting to other services and resources.
7-Working with disadvantaged children and families to ensure they have access to support and counselling, and advice on childcare and education.
